Beautiful Connections -Awaken The Creative

A few weekends ago, I had the honour and privilege of co- teaching a beautiful retreat with these two incredible souls at the soulful Purusha Retreat space in Lincolnshire.

Supporting others to release the creative within.

Although everything was prepared.

The flow of the weekend's sessions happened so intuitively and it was gently powerful & exceptionally beautiful. There was an opening & an honouring to the self. Losing inhibitions and stories and a diffusion into pure energy. Areeradh gently led us into movement and dance mandala, a form of moving meditation, which has the power to physically open the flow and free form of shape in movement and dance. Dance in its purest essence.

Anand Kirtan guided us into the healing properties of sound. Finding our sound within our voice, finding our music. Orchestrating our voices to fluidly blend and unearthing a power from within that felt essential and tender. And almost primal.

My task was to gently guide others to delve into the guidance of creativity through intuitive art. Blending together mediation and spoken prompts. It was wonderful to see and feel the freedom of play & exploration of colour, shape & form. Creating beautiful images of the internal and external worlds colliding.

The fusion of these three modalities created a magic that although we would never expected it when we talked about it. It had to happen because there was the alchemy of finding the true essence of all.

Beautiful. Releasing & powerful ♥️
